With the advent of electronics, very few could have imagined that in less that 50 years we would go from antiquated valve amplifiers to advanced mosfet audio systems, from discrete components to SMD's, from basic gates to PLC's and from the 4 bit CPU to the mighty 64 bit microprocessor, giving rise to Hi Fi, Wi-Fi, TV's, VCRs, Cellphones, DVD &, Blue-ray Disks, PC's, iPods etc... and tablets and notebooks with CPU with more than a billion transistors on board.
